At AFA, we believe that building a stronger, more effective apprenticeship system requires leadership from across the apprenticeship field. By becoming a member, you join a growing national network committed to expanding and improving apprenticeship pathways that meet the needs of workers, employers, and communities.

Our Membership Types

Individual Membership

This membership is ideal for individuals who retain a keen interest in AFA activities and the apprenticeship field. It's a cost-effective and easy way to stay connected and benefit from AFA's resources.

Organizational Membership

This membership is designed for organizations with 5 or more staff members who would benefit from an AFA account. It's the recommended option to maximize value and engagement for your team.

Patron Membership

For organizations looking to go above and beyond in supporting AFA’s mission. Patron members receive our highest level of engagement, recognition, and access.

Enrollment Timeline

Enrollment begins in September! All members, new and existing, will need to enroll in a paid membership to maintain access to member benefits.

If you join between September and December 31, your membership will be valid through December 31, 2026.

If you join after January 21, your membership will be valid for 12 full months from your sign-up date.

CAEL Members who sign up before December 31st get free membership through December 31, 2026.

NASTAD members and other federal and state agency staff get free AFA membership. Contact us from your organizational e-mail address to activate your membership.
