The US Department of Labor has released its notification for the availability of funding to states for apprenticeship expansion. As in past years, the 2026 State Apprenticeship Expansion Formula (SAEF) grant program is intended to provide states with funding to support apprenticeship activity. This is the fourth round of SAEF funding. The total available for formula state grants increases in the current year from $50 million to $85 million.
