The U.S. Department of Labor recently announced the $81 million RESTART Initiative (Reentry Employment in Skilled Trades, Advanced Manufacturing, Registered Apprenticeships, and Training), a major funding opportunity designed to bridge the gap between justice-involved individuals and high-demand careers, with a heavy focus on Registered Apprenticeship.
